Fundraisers for the Ukrainian Red Cross share information about the organisation’s work on the streets of Kyiv and Odesa
Have you noticed people in red vests with tablets on the streets of Kyiv and Odesa? They are fundraisers for the Ukrainian Red Cross, working as part of the Face2Face project. Every day, they share information about the organisation’s work and how you can help support people in need.
At a time when the country continues to face new challenges every day, sustained support is more important than ever. Regular contributions enable the Ukrainian Red Cross to respond quickly, effectively, and where the need is greatest.
Fundraisers explain the organisation’s key areas of work and invite people to join the Ukrainian Red Cross Friends community by signing up to make a monthly donation.
Thanks to this support, the Ukrainian Red Cross can:
- save lives under the rubble: emergency response teams, working alongside the State Emergency Service, arrive at emergency sites within minutes, equipped with modern tools and equipment;
- reach the most remote communities: ensuring access to clean water and providing primary healthcare through mobile health units;
- be there for those who need it most: offering care and support to people living alone who are unable to look after themselves.
We take safety and transparency seriously:
- fundraisers do not accept cash;
- donations can only be set up via a QR code;
- every fundraiser wears branded clothing and carries an ID badge with a photo, identification number, and a verification option;
- you choose how much to give and can manage your subscription at any time.
More than 2,500 people have already signed up to make monthly donations and become Friends of the Ukrainian Red Cross. Find out more about the project and how to become a Friend of the Ukrainian Red Cross: https://redcross.org.ua/donate/f2f/
Together, we can do more.
