The Ukrainian Red Cross provided assistance at sites affected by the overnight strike in Zaporizhzhia
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region worked alongside other emergency services at sites across the city. Volunteers conducted door-to-door checks to identify those injured, provided first aid to four people, and delivered psychological first aid to individuals experiencing acute stress reactions.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a large-scale Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia damaged residential buildings, and both lorries and passenger vehicles caught fire. One man was killed, and nine others were injured.
Emergency response operations have now been completed, and recovery work is ongoing.
