In Dnipro, the Ukrainian Red Cross is assisting at the site of the attack

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Dnipro region, together with the city’s emergency services, has been working at the site of today’s strike. Volunteers provided first aid to three injured people and evacuated two individuals with limited mobility from the upper floors. They also rescued two rabbits and three cats from one of the affected flats.

At present, the Ukrainian Red Cross is distributing humanitarian assistance at the site. Residents of Dnipro whose homes were damaged can receive plastic sheeting for temporary window repairs, blankets, emergency kits and food parcels.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, nine people were injured in the Russian strike on a residential area of Dnipro, including a child. A 14-storey residential building sustained damage to its walls, balconies, windows and technical floor. Fires broke out on the top two floors and were extinguished by firefighters.
