The Ukrainian Red Cross Participates in the 20026 National Resistance Forum

The nationwide forum, held in Kyiv, brought together representatives from National Resistance Centres that train citizens across Ukraine. Participants discussed the development of the national resistance system and shared practical experience. The forum also addressed issues of reintegration for veterans, who form the core instructor staff of these centres.

At a dedicated information stand, the Ukrainian Red Cross showcased its cooperation with National Resistance Centres in the training of instructors on international humanitarian law (IHL). Centre representatives learned more about the organsation and the work of its IHL Unit, and explored opportunities for further collaboration within the framework of basic training for Ukrainian citizens in national resistance.

Promoting knowledge of international humanitarian law is a key area of activity for the Ukrainian Red Cross. Participation in the forum marked another step towards strengthening cooperation in this field.
