The Ukrainian Red Cross and Nova Poshta Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
The Ukrainian Red Cross and Nova Poshta have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, marking a partnership between Ukraine’s largest humanitarian organisation and the country’s leading logistics service provider.
The partnership will focus on supporting veterans and people affected by the war, strengthening community resilience, and supporting people’s integration into the labour market through employment opportunities and other joint programmes and initiatives. The partners also plan to exchange expertise and conduct training on first aid and safety.
Particular attention will be given to the development of efficient logistics and the delivery of humanitarian aid. The parties already plan to analyse existing capacities and develop mechanisms to help ensure that assistance is delivered to those who need it most.
The Memorandum also provides for the coordination of efforts during emergencies, including cooperation in crisis response across the country.
The signing of the Memorandum opens up new opportunities for partnership and will help civil society and the private sector use their capacities more quickly and effectively.
