The Ukrainian Red Cross Community Center in Vinnytsia Continues to Provide Vital Support
The Center is a safe, inclusive, and accessible space that brings together social support, community development, and a range of services under one roof, enabling people to receive the assistance they need quickly and conveniently.
At the Vinnytsia Community Center, a variety of services are available, including:
- Social counselling, information, and guidance – it helps people navigate available services, assistance programmes, and community resources.
- Regular first aid training – these sessions build essential safety skills and prepare people to act confidently in emergency situations.
- Promotion of blood donation – a key focus of the Center is fostering a culture of blood donation, encouraging responsible attitudes towards helping others and supporting the healthcare system.
The Center also places special emphasis on mental health and psychosocial support. Group activities, meetings, and events are organised to promote emotional stability, restore inner resources, and support people experiencing stress or crisis.
Additionally, the Center runs the Reboot programme – an initiative aimed at expanding employment opportunities, helping people regain professional fulfilment, confidence in their abilities, and economic independence.
