Тhe Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Maksym Dotsenko, held a working meeting with the Director General of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Pierre Krähenbühl

During the visit, the delegation toured a heating point in Kyiv operated by the Ukrainian Red Cross. They learned about the organisation’s response to the impact of attacks on energy infrastructure, as well as the role of heating points in providing essential support to people during electricity and heating outages. Pierre Krähenbühl also had the opportunity to speak directly with visitors to the heating point.

In their discussions, both sides focused on humanitarian response and future cooperation. We continue to work together to ensure that humanitarian assistance reaches everyone who needs it.
