In the Chernivtsi region, a training session was held for members of the Ukrainian Red Cross Active Longevity Club
A training session focused on developing skills in non-violent communication and peaceful conflict resolution was held at the Active Longevity Club in the Dnistrovskyi district.
During the training, participants:
- explored the core principles of non-violent communication;
- developed a deeper understanding of themselves and others;
- enhanced their ability to express their feelings clearly and identify constructive solutions in challenging situations.
Particular emphasis was placed on practical exercises and the discussion of real-life examples, enabling participants to consolidate their learning and apply it in everyday life. Such initiatives help strengthen social connections, support emotional well-being, and foster a safe and welcoming environment for older people. The Ukrainian Red Cross Active Longevity Clubs operate to promote and maintain the physical, mental and social well-being of older people, contributing to healthy and active ageing.
