Humanitarian Aid Delivered to Kyiv Region to Support Communities During Blackouts and Cold Weather
The Kyiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has delivered humanitarian aid to support the population during blackouts and severe cold. The aid was handed over to the Kyiv Regional State Administration to assist in emergency response.
The delivery included:
- 120 emergency response kits
- 400 torches (flashlights)
- 40 portable charging stations
- 40 compact gas heaters
- 40 universal batteries
- 40 carbon monoxide detectors
- 40 tabletop gas stoves
Each emergency response kit contains essential items, including dishes and utensils, cups, candles, matches, a torch with batteries, disinfectant wipes, disposable shower kits, dry shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and a thermal blanket.
The aid is intended for Points of Invincibility (Resilience Centres) in the Kyiv region to strengthen community preparedness for emergencies.
