More than 100 Ukrainian Red Cross Active Longevity Clubs are operating across Ukraine
In these challenging times, older people need support more than ever. This is why the Ukrainian Red Cross has already opened more than 100 Active Longevity Clubs across Ukraine.
“Older Ukrainians need support; they need to feel that they matter to someone. Working with older people is a unique experience. They share their life stories and offer advice that you can use in your own life,” says Oleksandr Kyrylchuk, a volunteer with the Rivne regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
Volunteers of all ages take part in developing the Active Longevity Clubs, united by a shared goal: to promote active living among older people and help overcome loneliness.
