Odesa: Ukrainian Red Cross provided assistance at the site of the attack
The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Odesa region, in coordination with emergency services, provided assistance at the site following another attack on the city. Volunteers administered first aid to five injured people, while a further five individuals received psychological first aid.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian forces attacked Odesa overnight using strike drones. A 24-storey residential building, vehicles and non-residential structures were damaged, and fires broke out as a result of the attack. Two people were injured. One man died at the scene despite resuscitation efforts.
