In Poltava, the Ukrainian Red Cross heating point continues to operate amid severe winter weather and power outages

The heating point is open daily from morning until evening. People can warm up, charge their mobile phones and other devices, have a cup of hot tea or coffee, and, if needed, receive first aid and psychological support.

Here, information sessions on mine risk awareness are run, and people can receive advice on staying healthy.

Currently, around 250 people visit the heating point in Poltava each day. For many, it has become an important space not only for relief from the cold, but also for support and human connection.

We stand by those in need.
