In the Dnipro region, mobile health units of the Ukrainian Red Cross provide primary healthcare to local communities on a daily basis

These units reach people with limited or no access to healthcare facilities, delivering essential medical services directly to those in need.

Our specialists operate in all conditions, navigating poor roads and severe weather, responding despite power and heating outages, and travelling even during extreme cold. Each deployment offers an opportunity to deliver qualified medical assistance to people who, due to weather conditions and other circumstances, are nearly isolated from the outside world. Every week, dozens of medical consultations are conducted, including basic health checks, the provision of over-the-counter medicines when required, and psychological support. These services help residents not only to care for their physical health but also to feel supported and reassured.

The work of the mobile health units in the Dnipro region is carried out with the support of the Norwegian Red Cross.
