Dnipro: Ukrainian Red Cross provides assistance at the site of the attack

Today, the emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Dnipro region, working alongside other emergency services, responded at the scene of another attack on the city. Volunteers provided first aid to those affected and, together with emergency responders, evacuated a woman with limited mobility from the 16th floor of a damaged residential building.

An aid distribution point has been set up at the site by the Dnipro regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross. People affected by the attack are receiving humanitarian assistance, including blankets, emergency kits and tarpaulins to temporarily cover and repair damaged homes.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU), Dnipro was struck by a drone attack. A 16-storey residential building was partially destroyed, and people were injured. Fires broke out in two apartments, affecting a total area of 200 square metres. As of now, 14 people have been reported injured.
