Psychosocial Support in Dnipro Region: 2025 Overview
In 2025, the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) team of the Dnipro regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross provided psychosocial support to residents of the region, working in communities, remote towns and villages and in emergency settings.
Over the course of the year, the following activities were delivered:
- 1,358 basic psychosocial support activities, reaching 11,662 people
- 141 focused psychosocial support sessions, with 1,398 participants
- 5,726 people received individual psychological assistance
A dedicated area of work was cooperation with partner organisations and first responders. Throughout the year, the team delivered 31 training sessions in Psychological First Aid (PFA) attended by 573 participants.
The programme’s activities are aimed at supporting people in crisis situations, strengthening psychological resilience, and helping to restore internal coping resources.
