Immunisation Session for Kindergarten Staff Held in Vinnytsia Region by the Ukrainian Red Cross
In Mohyliv-Podilskyi, a consultant from the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention programme conducted an information session on immunisation. Kindergarten staff regularly interact with colleagues, children, and their parents. Therefore, taking responsibility for their own health and protecting the wider community from illness is particularly important.
Participants covered the following topics:
- How the immune system works and the body’s protective mechanisms
- Principles and benefits of immunisation
- Vaccination as an effective defence against infectious diseases
- The role of prevention in the rapid and effective control of infections
The session also included a discussion. Participants shared their fears, talked about possible reactions, and exchanged positive experiences. Everyone emphasised that a conscious approach, consulting a doctor, and taking individual circumstances into account are important steps in caring for one’s health.
With knowledge, dialogue, and support, immunisation becomes a collective step towards community health.
