Ukrainian Red Cross psychologists provided over 3,000 consultations in 2025
Living under constant shelling and attacks, air raid alerts, and power and heating outages takes a toll on even the most resilient people. Concern for loved ones, the loss of a sense of safety, emotional strain, and ongoing uncertainty have become part of daily life for millions. If you feel that managing on your own is becoming difficult, this is an important signal to seek support.
Psychologists of the Ukrainian Red Cross provide individual and group counselling in 22 regions to people affected by the consequences of the war or facing crisis situations. They help people cope with stress, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion, gradually restoring psychological well-being.
In addition to counselling, psychologists deliver community awareness activities, teach stress adaptation skills, and work to strengthen emotional resilience.
They also provide dedicated support to Ukrainian Red Cross staff and volunteers, helping to prevent professional burnout and build supportive networks.
