Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross assist at the site of a nighttime attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Odesa region worked at the scene to address the aftermath of the attack, alongside other emergency services. Volunteers provided first aid to those affected, evacuated a person from a flat that was blocked, and handed them over to an ambulance crew.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, five people were injured as a result of the Russian strike. The facades and windows of nearby multi-storey residential buildings and a kindergarten were damaged, along with garages and vehicles. Fires broke out in a lyceum building, a fitness centre, and a newly constructed residential building.
