Memorandum of Cooperation Signed to Develop and Coordinate Ukrainian Red Cross Social Services for Residents of Lviv
The Lviv Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, the Lviv City Council, and the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Lviv City Council have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at developing and coordinating Ukrainian Red Cross social services for residents of Lviv.
The Memorandum was approved by Ivan Semerak, Head of the Lviv Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross; Andrii Moskalenko, Deputy Head of the Lviv City Council; and Valentyna Bartoshyk, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Lviv City Council.
The Memorandum officially establishes the partnership and outlines the key areas of joint work, including:
- Adapting the social support system to the challenges of wartime and expanding the range of social services;
- Joint initiatives to adapt and equip housing to meet individual needs;
- Provision of rehabilitation services and necessary assistive devices for those who require them;
- Conducting joint events, working meetings, consultations, information exchange, and establishing working groups to ensure effective implementation of the agreement.
The signing of this Memorandum represents the first step towards creating a coordinated system for providing social services to residents of Lviv. It also foresees the establishment of a working group and the development of long-term cooperation.
