Volunteers provided on-site assistance during a large-scale fire in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv

Volunteers from the emergency response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross provided on-site assistance during a large-scale fire in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv.

While helping to manage the fire, volunteers set up a support station for the first responders working in challenging conditions for several hours, providing them with hot drinks.

According to the State Emergency Service, a report of a fire in a three-storey warehouse building was received on 5 January. The fire quickly spread to the building’s roof.

The Ukrainian Red Cross works alongside emergency workers, providing support wherever it is needed.
