Twenty-five firefighting units in the Volyn region have received sets of protective clothing and firefighting equipment from the Ukrainian Red Cross
The Volyn regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has delivered 25 sets of specialised protective gear and firefighting tools to local firefighters. Representatives of the regional office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine helped determine which units were most in need of updated equipment.
Local firefighters respond to fires and save lives every day, so high-quality protective clothing and modern tools are essential for their safety and effectiveness.
Valentyna Pryshko, Head of the Volyn regional branch and Vice-President of the Ukrainian Red Cross, emphasised that supporting communities and emergency response services remains one of the organisation’s key priorities.
The delivery was made with the support of the German Red Cross.
Another step has been taken towards strengthening community safety and building the capacity of emergency responders.
We stand by those in need!
