The Ukrainian Red Cross provided assistance at the site of the attack in Mykolaiv
Today, Mykolaiv once again came under a large-scale attack. The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Mykolaiv region, working jointly with first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, provided essential assistance to those affected at the scene. Two injured people received first aid, while another three people were provided with psychological first aid.
A Ukrainian Red Cross assistance point was operating at the site, where local residents and emergency responders could receive support, drink hot tea and charge their mobile phones. Volunteers also distributed transit humanitarian aid kits to those affected.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that Russian strike caused destruction and damage to residential buildings in the private sector of the city. According to preliminary information, five people were injured, three of whom were hospitalised.
