Another choice — new opportunities: how a student from a large family took a step towards financial stability
Ruslan Borshchuk is a second-year student at a pedagogical university in Ternopil and comes from a large family. He has always understood that it can be challenging for young graduates to find stable employment, so he sought opportunities to acquire additional skills that would enable him to support his family and feel more confident about the future.
Ruslan heard about the Reboot programme from friends. The initiative helps people develop new professional skills to improve their employment prospects, and it immediately caught his interest. He completed a manicure course, learnt modern techniques and how to work with clients, and says the training was not only useful but also inspiring.
Ruslan is already welcoming his first clients and, together with friends, is looking for a space where they can set up a small workspace. He feels that the programme has given him a real boost, helped him see his potential, and enabled him to take his first steps towards financial stability and working for himself.
