Your Actions Define You: Join the Nationwide Volunteer Recruitment for the Ukrainian Red Cross Emergency Response Teams
On International Volunteer Day, the Ukrainian Red Cross is launching a nationwide campaign to welcome volunteers to its emergency response teams under the slogan: “Your Actions Define You.”
Emergency response teams are the first to arrive when help is needed most. They are made up of people of all ages and professions, united by a single purpose — to support those in critical situations. These volunteers respond during fires, strikes, shelling, evacuations, and natural disasters — wherever quick decisions and courageous action are required.
Currently, the structure includes 24 teams nationwide, with nearly 700 volunteers.
Key areas of activity:
- Evacuation of civilians, including people with limited mobility and persons with disabilities
- Providing first aid and psychological first aid to those affected by emergencies
- Supporting the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in responding to the consequences of strikes, shelling, and disasters
- Participating in search and rescue operations
- Setting up mobile aid stations, field kitchens, and tented camps
- Delivering humanitarian aid to de-occupied and frontline communities
Join the team that saves lives — become an emergency response team volunteer.
