The Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Illya Kletskovskyy, spoke at the BRIDGE 2025 Forum and took part in the panel discussion “Saving Others — The Cost and Power of Humanitarian Work in Wartime.” The session focused on the role of humanitarian teams in frontline communities, the challenges of evacuation, and the resilience of staff.

The discussion brought together representatives of local humanitarian coordination centres and organisations working daily in extremely demanding conditions. Participants shared their experiences of operating under constant threat.

Illya Kletskovskyy spoke about the work of Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers and the importance of their training, emphasising the urgent need for modern technologies and appropriate protective measures.
