“When you have support and belief, there is always a way forward” – Dmytro, a participant in the Reboot programme
Dmytro is a small business owner who spent years developing his ceiling installation business in Kherson. The business was growing, his client base was increasing, and his plans were becoming more ambitious. However, the war changed everything: Dmytro had to leave his home city and relocate to Mykolaiv, where he faced new challenges and uncertainty.
It was then that he learned about the Reboot programme and the opportunity to receive a micro-grant. He prepared the required documents, applied, and was selected as one of the recipients. For him, this support was more than financial assistance — it was a sign that he was heading in the right direction.
With the grant, Dmytro purchased new equipment, restocked his supplies, and restarted work in his new home. Today, he is confidently expanding his services, providing high-quality products, and transforming Mykolaiv into a hub of new growth. His story shows that when you have support, belief in your own abilities, and the determination to move forward, any new beginning can succeed.
The Reboot programme of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Mykolaiv region is implemented in partnership with the Spanish Red Cross and the Danish Red Cross.
