The building of the Koriukivka branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Chernihiv region was damaged

According to the District Military Administration, on the night of 23 November, Russian UAVs struck the Children’s Activity Centre in Koriukivka, damaging surrounding buildings. Windows were shattered, and the fronts of the buildings were damaged.

The building of the Koriukivka branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Chernihiv region was also damaged. No staff or volunteers were injured. The blast wave broke windows and doors and caused damage to the office.

The emergency response team, together with volunteers and staff from the Koriukivka branch, promptly arrived at the site. People affected were provided with everything needed for temporary repairs, including tarpaulins, OSB boards, emergency response kits, and blankets.

Attacks on staff and premises of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement constitute a serious violation of international humanitarian law and are classified as a war crime.
