Therapeutic Garden Opens at VDNH in Kyiv

The Ukrainian Red Cross has contributed to the creation of a space designed to support veterans and their families in their recovery and rehabilitation.

Today, the Therapeutic Garden was officially opened at VDNH National Complex ‘Expocentre of Ukraine’ (Kyiv Exhibition Centre) in Kyiv, with the participation of First Lady Olena Zelenska. The garden is a place where nature meets care for mental and physical well-being.

During the event, guests were introduced to the garden’s functional zones, designed for relaxation, rehabilitation, and psychological recovery.

The opening was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, as well as project partners — Visa, PrivatBank, WorkUA, Expolight, Big City Lab — and veterans together with their families.

The Therapeutic Garden marks another step towards building a supportive and inclusive environment in Ukraine for those in need of care and recovery.
