The Ukrainian Red Cross continues evacuating people from dangerous areas in Dnipro region

Forced evacuations are ongoing in communities across the Dnipro region due to the advancing frontline. Every day, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Dnipro region set out to help people leave high-risk zones.

We do everything possible to ensure that everyone receives care and support during evacuation. Our volunteers assist people boarding transport and provide accompaniment throughout the journey. Upon arrival in a safe area, each evacuee is given a food parcel and all essentials needed for the first days in their new location.

People arrive at transit evacuation centres where they are offered temporary accommodation, humanitarian aid, and psychological support. Nearby, there are administrative service centres, medical facilities, and services provided by other organisations and agencies, enabling people to rest, access financial assistance, and find temporary housing.

We stand by those in need!
