Over 200 people in the Chernihiv region took part in training sessions led by physical and mental rehabilitation trainers

In September 2025, mobile rehabilitation units from the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked in the Ivanivka, Kipti, and Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske communities. During this time, they made 60 visits to beneficiaries, provided physical therapy services to 15 individuals, offered informational and psychosocial support to 5 people, and supplied assistive devices to 23 individuals.

Moreover, over 200 people took part in training and information sessions, gaining knowledge and practical skills in evidence-based rehabilitation.

This work is made possible thanks to the professional mobile rehabilitation units, who share their expertise, experience, and compassion every day. Collaboration with local communities helps ensure that services remain accessible — even in remote towns and villages.

The physical and mental rehabilitation programme in the Chernihiv region is implemented with support from the British Red Cross.
