The Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has donated modern rehabilitation equipment worth over UAH 120,000 to the Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital

The donation was made as part of an ongoing partnership between the Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital, within the framework of a programme focused on physical and psychosocial rehabilitation.

The equipment is intended to support patients in their recovery process.

The donated items include assistive devices for grasping objects, tools to help with putting on socks, foot drop orthoses in various sizes, elbow crutches, arm slings, slide sheets for patient transfers, and other essential rehabilitation aids.

This equipment will support people with limited mobility, patients recovering from illness, injury or surgery, and those who require assistance in regaining everyday functional skills.

The physical and psychosocial rehabilitation programme in the Odesa region is being implemented with the support of the German Red Cross.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone who needs access to quality rehabilitation support can receive it. That’s why the Ukrainian Red Cross continues to strengthen the capacity of healthcare facilities within communities.
