Strengthening Collaboration in the Dnipro Region: Mobile Rehabilitation Units and Psychologists from the Ukrainian Red Cross Join Forces
The Dnipro regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Petrykivka Town Council have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at expanding access to comprehensive, community-based support. As a result, beneficiaries of the mobile rehabilitation units will now receive not only physical rehabilitation services but also professional psychological support.
Specialists from the mobile rehabilitation units will work directly in beneficiaries’ homes across the Petrykivka community, delivering physical therapy sessions, supporting the restoration of mobility, and helping individuals reintegrate into active social life.
At the same time, specialists from the Ukrainian Red Cross’s Mental Health and Psychosocial Support programme will provide emotional and psychological support, helping people build and maintain inner resilience throughout their recovery journey. As part of this collaboration, beneficiaries will have access to individual consultations with psychologists or psychosocial support professionals, as well as psychoeducational sessions.
Together, we are strengthening cross-sector collaboration to provide people with holistic support – making the recovery process more effective and more accessible for everyone in need.
