Ukrainian Red Cross Volunteers Assisted a Road Traffic Accident Victim in Odesa

Yesterday, the team from the Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross witnessed a road traffic accident. Together with colleagues from Zaporizhzhia, who were in Odesa for an experience exchange visit, they provided first aid to the victim.

Before the ambulance arrived, the volunteers stabilised the victim’s cervical spine, immobilised the injured limbs, treated external wounds, and assisted with transferring him into the ambulance.

First aid skills are extremely important in life, as timely and proper assistance can mean the difference between life and death for those injured.
