The Ukrainian Red Cross Holds Working Meetings with Representatives of the French Red Cross

The President of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Mykola Polishchuk, and Director General, Maksym Dotsenko, held a series of working meetings with a delegation from the French Red Cross, currently in Kyiv on a working visit.

During the meetings, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation, including the opening of a nursing school under the Ukrainian Red Cross, the development of social projects and initiatives, strengthening response capacity to challenges caused by the war, the delivery of humanitarian assistance, as well as awareness-raising activities and training for the population. They also explored opportunities for continued support from the French Red Cross for the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

As part of the visit, the delegation visited the Kyiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, where they were briefed on the organisation’s work since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, as well as its main areas of activity in the Kyiv region.
