Ukrainian Red Cross Continues Supporting Schoolchildren in Building a Culture of Safe Behaviour

This week, as part of the “School Safety Sessions” project in Vinnytsia and Kropyvnytskyi, specialists and volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross led sessions on a vital topic: online safety. Children learned how to recognise risks in the digital space and how to avoid potential dangers. The internet is a great space for learning, communication, and entertainment — but, like the real world, it can also present threats.

These sessions help pupils feel more confident and stay safer online.

The “School Safety Sessions” project is being implemented in the Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions by the Ukrainian Red Cross Disaster Risk Reduction team, part of the Disaster Management Department, in partnership with the British Red Cross.
