Ukrainian Red Cross Supported Participants at Competition in Volyn

Last weekend, regional Cossack duel competitions — a traditional Ukrainian martial arts sport — were held in the Volyn region. Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Volyn region were on-site to provide first aid support throughout the event.

During the competition, our volunteers:

• provided first aid on-site to 43 athletes,
• referred two participants to a trauma unit for further examination.
