Kharkiv Region: Ukrainian Red Cross Assists Those Affected by Drone Strikes

Last night, following drone strikes on Kharkiv, the emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Kharkiv region was deployed to the affected sites in coordination with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and other rescue services. Volunteers conducted door-to-door visits in nearby areas and damaged homes, checking whether residents required assistance and providing psychological first aid.

Those affected are currently receiving humanitarian aid from the Kharkiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

The assistance includes drinking water, food and hygiene kits, tarpaulins, and OSB boards for the temporary repair of damaged homes.

A Ukrainian Red Cross support point is also operating on-site, where people can access drinking water, tea, and coffee, charge their devices, and receive first aid or psychological first aid.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Russian drone strikes caused multiple fires and left several people injured. Private homes, a shop building, an outbuilding, and other structures were damaged.
