Registration Now Open: All-Ukrainian Tournament for Young Experts in International Humanitarian Law

The Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, invites teams to participate in the first All-Ukrainian Tournament on International Humanitarian Law (IHL). 

Teams comprising four students in Years 9–11 from general secondary or vocational education institutions, together with one accompanying team leader (a member of the teaching staff), are invited to take part in the tournament, which will be held from 3 to 7 November 2025 in the Lviv region. 

Registration is open until 23:59 Kyiv time on 1 October 2025. To register your team, please complete the registration form and submit a letter of motivation at: https://forms.office.com/e/rmZcfGXJQQ 

Following a review of the motivation letters, the organisers will select 12 teams to participate. Leaders of the selected teams will receive an official invitation by email. To ensure the safety of all participants, the exact venue of the tournament will be communicated separately. All travel, accommodation, and meal expenses will be covered by the organisers. 

This first All-Ukrainian Tournament for Young Experts in International Humanitarian Law aims to promote knowledge of IHL among school students. As a flagship initiative of the Ukrainian Red Cross, supported by its partners, the tournament contributes to raising awareness of IHL among the younger generation.
