Ukrainian Red Cross Emergency Response Team Assists at Incident Site in the Fastiv District
Last night, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kyiv region responded to an emergency in the Fastiv district.
Volunteers arrived at the scene at approximately 2:00 a.m. and worked for nearly 14 hours. In the initial hours of the response, they assisted train passengers by providing first aid and psychological first aid, and accompanied the train to Kyiv. The team also established a command post and provided meals for bomb disposal experts, first responders, and railway workers.
According to Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia), rail traffic in the affected section has now been restored.
