Coordinated and Ready: Emergency Response Team Annual Training Exercises
“These exercises are about bringing people together around the idea of a shared family — the family of emergency response teams,” said Olena Kutsa, Head of the Emergency Response Service at the Ukrainian Red Cross.
This training is essential for preparing emergency response team volunteers. It provides an opportunity to gain new knowledge, exchange experiences, practise coordination, and strengthen cooperation with first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. As part of the training, volunteers participated in intensive drills aimed at enhancing their readiness to respond to emergencies.
This year, the event brought together 160 participants, including volunteers from every region of Ukraine, representatives of Movement partners, and specialists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
We train and improve our skills to deliver effective assistance to everyone in need.
