Ukrainian Red Cross Provides Assistance Following Attack on Zaporizhzhia

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Zaporizhzhia region, working in coordination with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and other rescue services, responded on the ground to help mitigate the aftermath of the attack on Zaporizhzhia. Volunteers administered first aid to more than ten people. Six adults and one child, all with injuries of varying severity, were transported to medical facilities in the city. Psychological first aid was also provided to those affected and their families.

The Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross continues to provide humanitarian assistance to those in need.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, 25 people — including children — were injured in the Russian attack. One person was killed, and residential buildings were damaged.
