Sharing Expertise and Training Future First Aid Instructors of the Red Cross Society of Moldova: Ukrainian Red Cross on a Working Visit to Moldova
As part of the ongoing partnership between the First Aid Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Red Cross Society of Moldova, the Ukrainian Red Cross carried out a several-day working visit to Moldova. During the visit, a team of Ukrainian instructors delivered two basic first aid training courses for trainee instructors from the Red Cross Society of Moldova.
“It is important for us to share our knowledge and practices with other National Red Cross Societies. Ukraine has a large team of instructors and trainers who teach people how to save lives every day. In Moldova, we demonstrated how we train our instructors, how we share our experience, and taught future instructors how to provide first aid training to the public,” said Nadiia Yamnenko, Head of the First Aid Department at the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
In addition to the training sessions, further collaboration was planned with representatives from the French Red Cross and the Red Cross Society of Moldova.
The Ukrainian Red Cross maintains a high standard of first aid training. We have much to be proud of — and much to share. In the past three years alone, the Ukrainian Red Cross team has trained 345,438 people in first aid!
