The Ukrainian Red Cross responds at the site of the strike on a residential building in Kharkiv

Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kharkiv region quickly arrived at the scene of the strike. They carried out checks of the surrounding areas to identify those affected and stood ready to provide first aid. They also supplied rescue workers involved in clearing the aftermath with drinking water.

Currently, the Kharkiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross is providing humanitarian aid to those affected.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, more than 33 people have been reported injured as a result of the Russian airstrike, including three children.
