A training course on Safety in Humanitarian Action was recently held for staff and volunteers from the Poltava regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, who are currently operating in a high-risk environment.
The primary aim of the training was to safeguard the lives and health of both humanitarian workers and aid recipients.
Participants covered key topics including personal safety, procedures for responding to incidents in the field, and the fundamentals of behaviour in emergencies.
The training was delivered with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
