The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team conducted training exercises in the Kyiv region

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kyiv region recently held a planned summer training session in Vyshhorod.

Throughout the day, the team practised essential emergency skills, including:

• unblocking victims trapped under rubble
• using evacuation equipment
• applying splints and bandages
• administering first aid in a multi-casualty road accident scenario
• conducting emergency reconnaissance

These training sessions are an integral part of preparing our volunteers, enabling them to respond quickly, smoothly and effectively to the challenges they face today.
