Over 300 Rehabilitation Sessions: Outcomes of the Ukrainian Red Cross Mobile Rehabilitation Units’ Work in the Khmelnytskyi Region, Second Quarter of 2025

From April to June 2025, mobile rehabilitation units operated by the Khmelnytskyi regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross provided daily support in local communities, bringing rehabilitation services directly to those in need.

Each team consists of physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants who provide care directly in beneficiaries’ homes. In addition to delivering professional support, they aim to create an atmosphere of safety, compassion, and trust within a familiar setting.

In the second quarter of the year, the teams achieved the following:

  • Delivered 300 individual home-based rehabilitation sessions to 39 new beneficiaries
  • Trained 59 caregivers in best practices for supporting their relatives
  • Organised 11 training sessions attended by 145 specialists
  • Held 32 informational sessions reaching 556 community members

The Ukrainian Red Cross remains committed to providing community-based rehabilitation in the Khmelnytskyi region, ensuring support is available where it is needed most.
