The Ukrainian Red Cross provides assistance at the site of the attack on Kharkiv
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kharkiv region, in coordination with other emergency services, responded to the incident. Volunteers carried out door-to-door visits in damaged buildings and inspected the surrounding areas to provide first aid to those affected.
Ukrainian Red Cross aid stations are currently operating near the impact sites, distributing humanitarian aid such as emergency kits, hygiene kits, water, tarpaulins, and other essential items.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian forces attacked residential areas of Kharkiv using drones. Preliminary reports indicate that 27 people were injured, including three children. Residential buildings, a kindergarten, commercial premises, outbuildings, and vehicles were destroyed.
