The Ukrainian Red Cross has opened an Active Longevity Club in Ust-Putyla, Chernivtsi region

In small villages like Ust-Putyla, older people often need greater attention, support, and opportunities for social interaction. Limited infrastructure and social isolation can make daily life more challenging. To support older people in such communities, the Ukrainian Red Cross continues to expand its network of Active Longevity Clubs.

These clubs offer participants a welcoming space where they can connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, take part in creative and physical activity sessions, join volunteer initiatives, attend information events, and gain new knowledge and skills. Some members even go on to manage the clubs themselves. With the support of our team, older people can remain socially engaged in their communities, maintain their physical and mental health, and feel valued. The club in Ust-Putyla was opened with the support of the Austrian Red Cross.
