In Odesa, information sessions for families of internally displaced persons were held as part of the Ukrainian Red Cross Health Promotion and Disease Prevention programme

During the information session on arterial hypertension, participants learned about the main symptoms, the importance of monitoring blood pressure, and the risk factors associated with the condition. They were also taught how to measure their blood pressure correctly and how to maintain a blood pressure diary.

In the session on diabetes, volunteers explained what the disease is, its types and causes, and methods for its prevention.

In the context of ongoing stress, which may result from changes in living conditions or other external factors, immunity can weaken. Therefore, it is important for both adults and children to take care of their physical health. The activities in the Odesa region are carried out with the support of the German Red Cross and aim to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage residents to look after their well-being.
