Another wave of attacks hit Odesa, Kyiv and the Kyiv region on the night of 10 June

  • Odesa

Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Odesa region responded at the sites of the attacks. They went door-to-door to affected homes, assisted with evacuations, and provided both first aid and psychological first aid to residents of damaged buildings. The team also carried out four medical evacuations, transporting injured individuals to local hospitals.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, at least nine people were injured in the Russian attack. Residential buildings, an emergency medical facility, and a maternity hospital were damaged or destroyed. A fire also broke out on the grounds of the Odesa Zoo.

  • Kyiv

An emergency response team from the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross was quickly deployed to the scenes of the attacks. In the Podilskyi and Obolonskyi districts of Kyiv, volunteers administered first aid and psychological first aid to those affected. Ukrainian Red Cross aid stations were set up to offer water, tea, and charging facilities for both civilians and emergency workers involved in the response. Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kyiv region are also assisting and are currently working at one of the affected sites.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, four people were injured due to falling debris from Russian UAVs in the capital. Fires, damage to infrastructure, and destruction of residential and non-residential buildings were reported across the Darnytskyi, Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, and Podilskyi districts.

Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team, in collaboration with a volunteer fire brigade, took part in extinguishing a fire caused by the attack.
